Syntonic Microwave’s Comb Generator product line is based on a design that integrates the combline generator, a Phase-locked Oscillator and TCXO, and a power amplifier. Management of the unit is accomplished using TTL logic, enabling the unit to be put in “stand by” mode when not in use. This makes the device particularly useful as a calibration source or for Built-In Test (BIT) applications. During stand by mode, the unit overall device draws only 30 mA. The combline can be tailored for usable pickets up through 26 GHz or for varying comb spacing, according to customer need. Other versions of the CG-Series accommodates use of an external reference frequency.
