Syntonic Microwave’s IF to IF Translator enables users to create a translation bridge between resources that have disparate IF’s. A company proprietary RF architecture for conversion and synthesis provides narrow to wide bandwidths and ultra-low phase noise. Manual and Automatic Gain Control allows the user to either set the overall gain or a stable output power independent of input power. User selectable filters provide bandwidths from 100kHz-1000 MHz. An internal clock oscillator creates a very stable reference for the synthesizers which may be overridden by a customer supplied external 10 MHz, and an EIA 1RU rack mount economizes on space. The Translator is AC powered and has an easy to use and intuitive front panel user interface, as well as remote control.
